This blazing fast course brings runners out through the forested Mud Mountain Dam Park, downhill along the Foothills Rail Trail and through the quaint towns and farmlands of the surrounding area, with a finish in front of both the McMillin Foothills’ Trail Bridge and the Historic McMillin Bridge. PARKING

Event Parking: Buses will depart from Orting Middle School. Directions HERE <<
Whitehawk Blvd NW, Orting, WA 98360

Finish Line & 5k: Parking lot at McMillin Trailhead. Directions HERE << Parking is very limited, there is no shuttle service from finish to start.

Marathon Start Line Parking: No post race shuttle bus service. Parking is available outside the park about .3 mile away. Directions HERE <<

PRE-RACE SHUTTLES

Marathon & Marathon Leg 1 Relay: Buses depart form Orting Middle School to Marathon Start (6:00 am-6:15 a.m.) 19.4 mile ride to the top of Mud Mountain, 34 Min.

Half-Marathon & Marathon Leg 2 Relay: Buses depart from Orting Middle School to Half-Marathon Start (starts 7:00 a.m.) Returning buses from marathon start will come back to Orting Middle School and make continuous rounds to the South Prairie Half Marathon Start Line.

*All Shuttles will depart as they fill up

POST-RACE SHUTTLES

Post-Race: Finish Line to Orting Middle School, 2.3 miles from finish.

BAG CHECK

You will be given drop bags with your packets. Gear can be checked at the all start lines next to packet pick-up (there will be a bus at the half-marathon start that gear will be collected on).

Please make sure your tear tag is secured to your drop bag and collect your bags at the finish line — we will not be mailing out un-claimed bags.

OTHER RACE DAY INFO

Time Cutoff: The course will remain open and supported until 1:30 p.m.

Early Start: There will be an early start 1 hour before the official start for those needing longer than the 6 hours that the course is open*. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form and check in with the timer at the start line.

*Any early starter finishing before 5 hours will be disqualified

AWARDS

Age group ribbons will be given to 1st place through 5th place.

Relay overall winners will receive 1st overall award ribbon.

Age divisions are as follows for both male and female runners: 14 and under; 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-70, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+
